Kenton Regional Citizens Police Academy

The Kenton Region Citizens Police Academy is a comprehensive twelve week course. Citizens will have the opportunity to learn how law enforcement in Kenton County functions and carries out day to day business. The Academy Instructor staff is made up of police officers and administrators from several different law enforcement agencies in the county. Citizens from Kenton County are invited to apply and attend this excellent opportunity. Students will participate in classes that range in topics from standard policing, DUI investigations, crime investigations, K-9 officers and much more. Students will also participate in hands on activities that include the use of the police Firearms Training System as well as live fire exercises and traffic stop scenarios.
