Benefits:

Anthem Blue Cross-Blue Shield Insurance, individual or family , as needed by employee, at no cost to employee. Immediate participation upon approval of application to Plan by carrier.

Delta Dental of KY, individual or family, as needed by employee, at no cost to employee, thirty days after employment and approval of application to Plan by carrier.

Anthem Life Insurance: $25,000 on employee at no cost to employee. Immediate participation upon approval of application to Plan by carrier.

Retirement:

The Department and its employees participate in the Kentucky Retirement System for full-time hazardous and non-hazardous positions.

Vacation:

After six months of employment -	40 hrs. vacation time
After one year of employment -	80 hrs. vacation time
After five years of employment -	120 hrs. vacation time
After fifteen years of employment -	160 hrs. vacation time

Holidays:

Ten (10) days per year. Includes New Year's Day, President's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Columbus Day, Veteran's Day, Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.

Sick Days:

Sick days are accrued at a rate of one (1) per month at the end of each month. The maximum number of accruable sick days is 90.

Vehicle:

Use of Police vehicle in accordance with Home Fleet Personnel Policy. Chapter 20, Section 3.
